Adding a Headlamp to Drive Across the Country in 1903
In order to make up time, during their cross-country trip in 1903, the pioneers added an acetylene headlamp to their car to drive at night. They also had to wait multiple times for parts to arrive and even had to rent a Jeep Cherokee to complete their journey.
