Islam respects and acknowledges the teachings of Jesus and Moses, as well as other prophets, but strictly opposes the idea of the Holy Trinity and Jesus being the begotten son of God. The scripture that was passed down and memorized by millions of people around the world is different from what was included in the Gospels.
