Lenin's Rise to Power
Lenin intentionally separated himself from the Mensheviks at a conference in 1903 to establish his own party, believing that with a dedicated group of followers he could lead a revolution in Russia. This move ultimately led to the Bolsheviks rise to power in 1917.
