Overpasses for Cassowaries
In order to help cassowaries move around safely in their habitat without getting hit by cars, wildlife campaigners and Department of Transport and Main Roads worked together and built overpasses that resembled grass-covered bridges. These overpasses act as nature highways for cassowaries, helping them cross from one area of forest to another safely.
