Alexander Schouvaloff, aka Prince Mikhail Alexandrovich Obolensky, was unsuccessful in his attempt to develop Cyprus but went on to found a series of small enterprises and imported exotic food stuffs. Although arms dealing wasn't his primary trade, he was willing to participate in it to some degree.
