The ideologically-driven opposition movements such as the Venezuelan opposition, Hong Kong opposition, and Taiwanese are still inspired by the ideals of liberalism and democracy, despite being disgusted and tired with Western democracy, and are the germs of the idea that remain inspiring to people around the world. However, autocracy and its network of supporting countries, like Russia, China, Iran, Venezuela, and Zimbabwe, are finding a way to keep each other in power, and it remains challenging to make democratic alternatives a reality and give people a feeling of having a real voice in their societies.
