The Turing test, which gauges a machine's ability to exhibit intelligent behaviour that's indistinguishable from an actual human, isn't necessarily the best way to measure intelligence. Conversation, when none exists, is a more intuitive illustration of how far we are from solving intelligence than computer vision.
