There were two known fatalities in the wave pool of Action Park, although due to the high number of rescues made by lifeguards saving about 30 people a day for each lifeguard wearing a wristband that read "can't fucking swim," there could have been many more. In addition, a man died of a heart attack after swimming in the cold Tarzan Swing pool in 1984, while in 1987 there was a bus crash on the way to the park which killed five people.
