Belarus, Putin and the War
Belarus became a satrapy with 30,000 Russian troops moving into the country, resulting in Russian troops that were stationed within a few hundred miles of Kiev, while the new Belarus movement prepared to protest the constitutional referendum that would allow Lukashenko to stay in office until 2035. In the early hours of February 24th, Russia's military attacked Ukraine, leaving the Belarusian people scared and horrified about their country's involvement in the Kremlin's slaughter.
