The display of consciousness in intelligent systems is close enough to consciousness from the perspective of AGI that the distinction of the hard problem of consciousness may not be interesting. It is possible for consciousness to emerge in a computational framework like ICSI, but it does not answer the question of whether it is truly conscious.
