China has officially eased its strict zero COVID policies, including PCR testing every 24 to 48 hours, after nearly three years of constraining daily life, following a realization that it may have gone too far. Despite reporting just over 14,000 daily COVID cases nationwide, the government has shifted its approach in early December.
