Colonia Dignidad, renamed Paul and now advertised as a tourist destination in Chile, was formerly a place of horrors where Schaeffer's lieutenants committed atrocities and now convicted and imprisoned. It is disguised as an old German village but has no church, leaving the visitors to wonder what happened there before.
