The conversation about gun control needs to shift to involve gun owners who support common sense laws and recognize that the NRA does not represent all gun owners. By adding a few extra steps to the gun ownership process, due process can be ensured, and gun deaths and injuries can be significantly reduced without a ban on most guns.
