The task of presenting technology that is completely novel to humans is difficult for aliens since it cannot be so advanced that we don’t recognize it. The fascination with the development of technology and the act of innovation itself could be what aliens are communicating through the technology they present to humans, in the space of ideas, to influence humans and encourage them to take care of the world.
