Radio Free Europe presents a counter theory on the assassination attempt on former Turkmenistan leader Saparmurat Niyazov, whose deputy prime minister and national bank had denied any involvement in the attack. Despite being a US government funded organization, Radio Free Europe reports from inside non-democratic countries with no press freedom and had gathered information from various sources to present this alternative theory.
