The development of relationships with indigenous communities to produce indigenous medicines like ayahuasca would help avoid the cultural disruption that happens when individuals travel to South America. Decrim should focus on bringing the medicines North to establish legal, safe, and structured psychedelic centers that would benefit both the people who produce and grow the medicines economically and the individuals who need them.
