Augusta has extreme disparities between its neighborhoods, with an exclusive golf club and wealthy members to an underbelly of sex trafficking, drugs, and crime. The lack of media coverage of the disappearance of two young black girls from Augusta could be due to a combination of these disparities and also the timing of the famous Masters Golf Tournament.
