A majority of voters believe that COVID should be treated as an endemic disease, but the Democratic party is divided with 50% of democrats believing that COVID should continue to be treated as an emergency. Meanwhile, a recent poll has shown that a majority of Republicans believe that COVID should be treated as an emergency, as well as a portion of independents.
