Dolly Parton, together with non-profit organization "Community Mobile Loaves & Fishes," built 240 houses for homeless people in Austin, Texas. She also helped people throughout the Appalachia mountains become self-sufficient and less reliant on food stamps by teaching them how to grow their own gardens and build an aqua center for fishing, thus giving them a source of income.
