Joseph Jr. was born on November 8th, 1945 in Bath, New York. He was the oldest of four kids, and his father was a Sergeant in the US Army. A traumatic event occurred in his young life when he witnessed his seven-year-old sister being raped by two airmen in West Germany, which left a lasting impact on him.
