Evidence in a Strangulation Homicide Case
The lack of evidence under any fingernails or the absence of a broken neck or hyoid bone does not necessarily mean there was no strangulation. Younger adults who have been strangled or asphyxiated have shown to not have broken neck bones. The presence of DNA and a tire track that did not match Courtney's car suggest that there was more than one car involved in the case.
