The prosecutors in the case of Alec Minnis, who murdered his wife and son, knew they needed to explain to the jurors why a seemingly loving husband and father might commit such gruesome crime, even as they presented evidence of his bizarre behavior before and after the crime. It was eventually revealed that the motive behind the crime may have been linked to Alec’s financial crimes which caused him to be forced out of the law firm that his own family built.
