Great Smoky Mountains National Park is home to over 65 mammal species, 200 varieties of birds, 67 native fish species, and more than 80 types of reptiles and amphibians. One of the most infamous mammals in the park is the American black bear, with upwards of 1,500 of them living in the wilds.
