Despite Mark Zuckerberg's regret over Facebook's Beacon system and a payment of 9.5 million for a class action suit over it, many who worked with him feel he doesn't really understand privacy. The Beacon system was opt-out only and Zuckerberg refused to turn it off for many weeks while the PR disaster escalated.
