The famous mathematician, Euclid, took a vow of celibacy underneath a tree at the young age of 17, which he adhered to throughout his lifetime. Many other great thinkers throughout history have taken the same vow, including Leonardo da Vinci, Sir Isaac Newton and Nikola Tesla.
