The fastest growing occupations in the US, including wind turbine technicians, nurse practitioners, personal care aides, IT security analysts, and more, are growing at a rate ranging from 25% to 60% a year, well above the average of 4% for all occupations. It would be interesting to track the growth rate of these occupations over the past few years to determine their trajectory.
