Four sons of the convicted drug lord, El Chapo, have been charged with leading their father's drug trafficking and manufacturing empire and pioneering a fentanyl product. These charges were part of more than two dozen people accused of operating a global fentanyl manufacturing and distribution operation under the Sinaloa drug cartel and included suppliers in China and a weapons supplier based in the US.
