A neuroscientist has begun producing high quality genome data of endangered species to be used by conservation funding agencies or private foundations, such as Revive and Restore or Colossal, who are interested in resurrecting extinct species. The database called Genome Arc stores the genetic code for all species, in anticipation for future scientific and conservation projects.
