Germany is under pressure from its allies to permit the sale of Leopard tanks to the Ukrainian military for its fight against Russia, as the country has hundreds of these tanks or allow countries that it sold the tanks to, to donate their German tanks to Ukraine. Germany has not wanted to lead in sending offensive weaponry to Ukraine to fight against Russia.
