The House Progressive Caucus put out a letter signed by 30 members suggesting opening a diplomatic track with Russia in parallel to the virtually unlimited support given to Ukraine to mitigate against the threat of the US being drawn into a nuclear war. Though the letter met with fierce reactions, Representative Rokana stood tall and defended diplomacy by saying politics makes for strange bedfellows, and we should negotiate peace a little more firmly to achieve the correct foreign policy.
