Eric Yuan, the founder of Zoom, reached out to Ron Conway, a well-known angel investor, to offer him one chance to work together. Eventually, Conway, who was impressed with Yuan's persistence, introduced him to Kevin Peterson, who was then working at Yahoo!, and whom Yuan persuaded to join him in starting Zoom.
