The Federal agents found the private PGP key labeled Oxymonster, that matched the one on his Dream Market account, proving that Gal Valerius was Oxymonster and giving them the evidence to arrest and convict him for conspiracy to distribute narcotics, operating a darknet marketplace, and money laundering.
