To start a startup outside of Silicon Valley, it's best to move to a startup hub such as Austin, LA, New York, Boston, Berlin, London, Bangalore, Shanghai, Delhi, or Beijing. Once in a hub, one can take classes, volunteer, or work in any capacity to get into the flow of the startup scene and figure out what to do from there.
