Law enforcement officials overseas are detecting visual trace evidence within the background of sexually illicit images of children to find information about the abuse. The Criminal Division’s Child Exploitation and Obscenity Section or CEOS created the Endangered Child Alert Program or ECAP to help with these efforts.
