Investigators found a homemade curtain and blanket during the investigation of Amy Mihaljevic's murder and were able to confirm that they belonged to her three years later when hairs from them were tested. Her mother recognized them as items from their home but knowing that Jake's hair was on them was a huge breakthrough for investigators.
