Intersexual Competition in Biology and Wardrobe
listen on SpotifyListen on Youtube
51:10 - 56:20 (05:10)

The idea of intersexual competition in biology extends to wardrobe choices, as women may compete for reproductive resources by willingly accepting fewer resources in exchange for access to reproduction, and if another woman does this, it lowers the value of resources on the market for others. To test if wardrobe choices are made for men or for competition with other women, an experiment may be conducted where women hang out only with other women.
