The Chinese-controlled joint international investigation into the origin of the COVID-19 pandemic failed to address the possibility of a lab incident and instead focused on a single hypothesis of natural origin. The international expert team concluded that a lab incident origin was highly unlikely, which was denounced by many as a part of Chinese propaganda.
