J.K. Rowling had said that part of the reason she spoke up was seeing the way that other women were harassed when they spoke up, and now that same harassment was coming for her. Rowling was getting dehumanizing tweets from anonymous Twitter users, which show the abhorrent ways the movement behaves towards women.
