John K. Siglab had an extensive and impressive career, starting as an OSS agent in World War Two, teaching guerrilla tactics in China, being the CIA desk chief for China, involved in establishing the Ranger Training Center at Fort Benning, and serving as the deputy station chief of the CIA in South Korea during the Korean War while also commanding a combat battalion.
