Investigators from the state of Maine found no evidence of mistreatment or civil liberties violations at the Alon School after being sent there to exonerate the institution and keep money in the state. However, their report did acknowledge the use of physical violence in some cases, but only in instances of repeated physical violence between evenly matched participants.
