Georgia has no natural lakes and every lake in the state is manmade by the power company by building a dam and flooding the towns. The largest lake is a thousandth the size of Lake Michigan but is three and a half times deeper than Lake Erie and was created by an ice sheet in Scotland 10,000 years ago.
