The speaker met Justin Rose and Greg Weatherford, two athletes who he had looked up to as a child, and was pleasantly surprised to find that they were just as approachable and friendly as anyone else. As the opening day of the competition approached, he also met other athletes, including Andy Murray who was asked to be the flag bearer.
