The Oort Clouds, which consist of objects that orbit the star and extend far outside the actual star, could contain mining equipment from alien civilizations that mined these clouds billions of years ago, and as the current closest star to us, Proxima Centauri, will be supplanted by other stars over millions of years, these alien civilizations could be from a distant past or even long gone.
