KIC and EPIC are two stars discovered by the Kepler spacecraft in 2014 with a unique transit pattern. Astronomers have been unable to explain the massive dimming effects on these two stars that are as high as 22% and 65% respectively, leading to speculation of the possibility of Dyson spheres.
