Point Nemo, also known as the Oceanic Pole of Inaccessibility, is where all space junk eventually goes to die. The debris field of a space station could be almost 1,000 miles long if it crashes there, and interestingly, H. P. Lovecraft wrote about the old ones in a location with calculated coordinates very close to Point Nemo.
