A European living in California coined the term Liebensraum to advocate for immigration barriers to prevent the white race from being overwhelmed by Chinese and Italian people. He argued that Northern European nations had to hold on to every settlement colony and fill them with their own offspring to avoid being filled with the children of the brown and yellow races.
