Thousands have taken to the streets in cities across Egypt to demand the resignation of President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi and to protest against government corruption. The protests, which were sparked by exiled former military contractor Mohammed Ali's allegations of corruption within the military, have resulted in over 1,900 arrests.
