Two Republican governors used a months-long strategy to bring Venezuelan migrants to Martha's Vineyard to make undocumented immigration a problem for blue states, not just red ones. The Republican governor is worried about the policy known as Title 42, which is resulting in the expulsion of migrants who show up at the border back to Mexico, which could result in millions of migrants showing up at the border.
