Over two and a half decades ago, a scholar of the Quran, now a born-again Christian, helped to deprogram children who rescued from South Sudan and were programmed to believe that every person they killed was a reward for heaven. Mental evaluations were also conducted regularly to ensure mental wellbeing and safety of the children.
