A scientist recalls a study conducted in 2003 where he and Brian Kennedy tested that caloric restriction was working through SIR2, in which they used resveratrol as a drug to activate SIR2, and see what happens if combined with caloric restriction. Later, a study showed that mice on a high-fat diet lived longer when given resveratrol.
